THE TANTALIZING OF A SCANDALOUS RAKE  is the third book in The Lords of Scandal Row Series. 
 
A third son usually goes to the clergy or the military.  Adam has no interest in either.  He’s very good at cards, drinking, … and women. 
 
Rosie is the “Beauty of Buttermere.”  A name that is bringing business, at least temporarily, to her inn and she’ll accept it while it lasts.  I love that she is pragmatic like that.
 
Rosie and Adam are both so likeable;  I was immediately convinced they belonged together and the more time they spent together the more that was evident.
 
I loved how this book tied up all of the loose endings of the over arcing storylines.  Maybe a little hastily and whimsically, but I’m not a stickler for perfection in accuracy.  Poetic license freely given!  I enjoy a well-written imaginative story more than needing to be draconianly correct.
 
This story was a delightful read!  I can’t wait to see what will come next from Samantha Holt’s pen.
