CAPTURING THE BRIDE is the first
book in the Kidnap Club series. These are expected to be stand-alone
historical romances, but I plan to read them all and in the order of release.
In a time when women were used as
pawns and bargaining chips, Miss Grace Beaumont and her aunt found themselves
with an ace up their sleeves.
I love this unique and ingenious
concept for the misogynistic society of the era! I love the men of the Kidnap Club, their
differing personalities, and their commitment to the cause – each with their
own reasons. Then there is Grace. She is so bluestockinged – nerdy in today’s
terms – straightforward and unfiltered.
I just knew from the first page that Grace and Nash were going to be an
epic romance.
This was a great book and a
fantastic start to a new series. I’m
looking forward to continuing with the next kidnapping!
