MISADVENTURES WITH A DUKE is the thirty-third release in the multi-author Misadventures series.  Each is a stand-alone romance.
 
This is a sequel to Angel Payne’s MISADVENTURES WITH A TIME TRAVELER, #27 in this series.  Though not necessary, for maximum enjoyment I do recommend reading the previous book first.
 

As much as Bastian’s older brother, Max, embraced New York and modern living, Bastian is a fish out of water.  He is just as intelligent as Max and just as quick to catch on that things are different, but this is not his world.  He is a soldier and a gentleman.  He cannot (will not) comprehend that in 230 years, the world has moved on to the point of rudeness at every turn and that chivalry is dead.

Allie’s friend Raegan is his perfect match.  So much so that she even looks exactly like the beautiful maid he left behind in Revolutionary France.
 
This is a beautiful fantasy of romance, time-travel, and true love.  There is steam, adventure, and edge-of-your-seat action.  I loved it!

MASQUERADING IN THE MIDLIFE is the third book in the Fanged After Forty series.  This is a continuing story, so for maximum enjoyment read them all and in the order of release.
 
In fact, there must be another book coming, though I don’t know the name of it yet.  I know there must be because this one ended with a cliffhanger.  The kind that makes me scream at the last page!
 
I love these people like they were my own friends.  I have loved each book so far in this series, including this one.  I’m on pins and needles to get to the next one to make sure that (not telling) will be okay.
 
I love the quirky little reveals that happen with each book.  Who is infatuated with whom?  Will it work out?  Who are the skips they are chasing and what unique events happen in finding them?  That’s what makes these books fun.  Plus, there is the nice slow-burn romance between Hailey and Jax.  They know they love each other, but they’re not rushing…. Even with a deadline.
