MARRIED TO THE EARL is the third
book in the Wallflower Brides series.
I have loved all three of the books
in this Regency Romance series, but have to admit that I have been looking
forward to Joanna’s story. It turns out
she was the perfect daughter, the perfect debutante, the perfect wife, but she
isn’t doing so well as a widow. She has
bottled up her emotions and pushed her purposes towards others. When she pushes herself into charity work,
and ends up working with Ambrose, that’s the beginning of her facing her past
and being able to face her future…. Sigh!
Ambrose Creasey, Earl of Newhaven,
is the very definition of rogue and rake, but he has become disillusioned with
his own reputation. Delving into the
family’s charity puts him onto the path with the pretty widow. Knowing her makes him realize it is worth
making big changes in his life, not just out of a desire for something
different, but to be better for her… sigh again!
Their path may be bumpy, but the
road to true love usually is. Their
story is wonderful and touching. It is
beautiful and I loved every moment of reading it.
