NOT ANOTHER SOLDIER is a stand-alone contemporary romance with a military theme.

There is some confusion in that sometimes Sienna says Army and sometimes she says Marine. Maybe in British terms they are interchangeable where to an American they are two different things. Because I don’t know, I let that slide, even though I was brought up in a military household (Air Force).

What matters is the romance. Nick has always loved Sienna. If Rob hadn’t set his sights on her first… but the bro-code prevailed at the time.

Sienna is afraid to allow another soldier/marine to claim her heart. Until she realizes that it isn’t the job, but the man who failed her before, Nick is fighting an uphill battle. Lucky for her, Marines are taught how to breach those formidable heights with determination and diplomacy.

I loved this story of second chances at getting the romance right.

I have read many books from Samantha Holt and will always put her at the top of my TBR pile when a new one is available to me.
