Deception, this story begins where we left off with Avery beside the portal in the Evermist, but her men aren’t with her. Instead, there is deception. Charles’ half-brother, Marek pretends to be Charles as he leads Avery to the castle. This tension is spun throughout her journey through Evermist on a quest to the Siren’s Castle.
Secrets, magic, suspense, danger, steam, and drama kept me glued to my kindle as I lost myself in this fantasy in the lands of the fae.
