TAKING THE SPINSTER is the third book in the Kidnap Club series.  Though each story will stand on its own, I recommend this entire series and encourage you to read them in the order of release for maximum enjoyment since past relationships are revisited.
 
This story is clever, and Freya is a woman beyond her place in time.  She is determined to be taken seriously as a journalist. 
 
I loved the cat and mouse games of Freya and Guy.  I loved the sweetness and empathy they both showed towards her mother and her sweet old dog.  The hilarious banter between them made me wish the story could go on forever just to never end that fun.
 
All in all, this was a fun little escape with mystery, intrigue, and tons of empathy.  I will put this one on my top 10 for this year!
