ALIEN RAPUNZEL is the seventh book in the Trilyn Alien Fairy Tales series.  I have not read any other books in the series, and this did stand on its own.
 
I absolutely adored this retelling of Rapunzel.  I love the personal and relational growth for Prince Rawklix and Laura.
 
There are great AI characters and futuristic transportation (alien technology?). 
 
I’ve already read this twice and this will definitely be read again.  I smile every time I think of the adventure towards their HEA.

HOODWINKED AT HALLOWEEN is the fourth book in the Otherworlder series.  They will each stand on their own, but I highly recommend reading them all and in the order of release.
 
This series gets better with every book.  I love Jordan’s devotion to Raine and the way it is emphasized when a were-tigress is presented, but he still has eyes only for his Raine.

  The snarky dialogue between the chihuahua sized dragon, Sam, and his “parents” is adorable and belly-laugh-able. The situations are unique.  This series never feels like the same old, same old and I enjoy every page of reading.
 
Our next holiday adventure will be New Years Eve.  I hope we never run out of holiday ideas for Raine and her family of loveable misfits.

DEAD AWAKENINGS is a stand-alone story.  However, I think it needs to be the beginning of a series!
 
I don’t like zombie stories.  Especially after living through the recent pandemic!  Life is hard enough without adding in real-life flesh-eaters or blood-suckers or…
 
However, I loved this story.  It grabbed me from the beginning.  It is action-packed, romantic, full of friendships, and suspenseful.  There were times I felt like maybe I missed a prequel, but then I thought, “you’re not stupid, put the pieces together!” 
 
There is a HEA/HFN ending.  It could end here and be complete, but the ending is like life… it’s open to more.

This story is beautifully romantic.  I read it in one day and I loved it!  Shifters are even better when they come from off-world.  Razor has been on earth for a decade as a lone shifter, but he has never forgotten Affina. 
 
Leave it to Gerri Wilder to reunite Razor and Affina when the time was right.  They are ready to rebuild their clan here on Earth.  I never wanted it to end… bring on the cubs!
