BLOOD BOUND is the second book in the Blackhawk Security series.  Each story will stand on its own.  I only wish I had the first one as well.
 
My heart has melted into a puddle and that makes me happy.  I absolutely loved this story.
 
Yes, anytime there is a small child involved, they are sure to steal my heart from the beginning.  This little sweetheart is scene-stealer!  She has everyone wrapped around her little finger, but only with love.
 
We know Chase as the man who flies in to assist our favorite Trident Security crews.  Now it’s his turn to meet and fall in love with the woman… or in this case women…. of his heart – Rylie & Mickey.
 
Princess Bride lines, a sweet child, a pit bull sweetie, and – oh yeah, by the way – a fantastic romance and some legal emotional suspense.  This story is amazing!

IMMORTAL ANGEL is the thirty-first book in the Argeneau series.  Though each book will stand alone in this series, I recommend reading them all.
 
G.G. and Ildaria remind me of the punk and goth kids of my youth – they’ll be bold and unique while trying to hide in their own shadows.  G.G. with his green mohawk and Ildaria with her vigilante defense of women are just trying to get through their immortal lives without being noticed.  I laugh and ask, “how’s that working out for you?”
 
This series is fabulous, and it never gets stale.  I love the suspense story that is Ildaria’s backstory and how it must be resolved in order for them to have a future.
 
I look forward to more and more Argeneau vampires.  The is always steamy romance, great dialogue, and terrific suspense lines.

A SINFUL ENCORE is the third book in the Brilliance series.  This series must be read in the order of release.

 I am always amazed at how books seem to come to me at pivotal points in my life.  This series has an under theme of suicide prevention.  Kace and Chris Merit (from the Inside Out series) are working together on a charity to raise awareness and money for this cause.  I received this book on the same day that I found out that my ex-husband had made that “permanent solution to a temporary problem.” (Those are the words from a Jimmy Buffett song that I always use to define suicide.), though my ex’s was not a temporary problem.  Each mention of suicide in the book was a stab in this new wound, and yet it also is helping me to heal more quickly.

 As always, books are my escape from reality, even when they are pushing that reality into my face.  In this instance , I believe they helped me to cry in healthier ways.  Then help me to escape into the world of romance and intrigue because it’s not all about suicide.  Suicide is a very small under theme.

 Now, what you really want to know.  Kace and Aria’s whirlwind romance has been captivating from the first book and it continues to the last page… to the last word.  Every woman wants a man who is as experienced, yet drops every past to permanent devotion for her.  To know that she has his undivided attention and there is no doubt that Aria has Kace’s devotion.

 I loved (most) of the surprises.  I won’t say why I say most, because I hate to give away spoilers, but the reason is personal, nothing against the writing.  I love the heat, the sizzle, and the romantic suspense that kept me glued to my kindle for a full trilogy.  I loved visiting old friends while falling in head over heels in love with this new couple that included the world of music that I already loved.  Yes, this series had everything that I loved, and I highly recommend it. 

You do not need to have read any other series of Lisa Renee Jones in order to start here, but I do recommend starting here if you haven’t previously read anything else.  You’ll fall in love with her too!
