Thirteen prequels and I loved them ALL.  I want to read all of these series.  Do you think I can squeeze them all into my schedule?  I already have one of the follow up books and will be reading it next. (Thank you, Carrie Pulkinen.)  Many of these were new-to-me authors.  I am so glad I had the chance to get to know them through this anthology.
 
Yes, the stories lived up to the title – many sassy lady supernaturals – but each story was unique and wonderful.

THE DUKE’S BRIDE IN DISGUISE is the first book in the Fairfax Twins series.  The storylines for books one and two are played simultaneously, so can be read in either order.
 
A cross between Cinderella and the Prince and the Pauper, this is a sweet romance of twins who have been separated at birth and reunited by chance.  I really enjoyed it.
 
While I had to suspend belief in a lot of aspects, this is fiction and I accept that for the feel-goods.  I already have the second audiobook in this series and will start listening right away.
 
Narration:  Duke Defoix, Duchess DeFoix are fun to listen as they play the Regency character voices.

THE TEMPTING OF A DEVILISH LORD  is the second book in The Lords of Scandal Row series about the Moncrieff brothers.  Though each book will stand on its own, I highly recommend the series and suggest reading them in the order of release.
 
If you’ve read the first book, you’ll recognize that the timelines overlap.  So, it’s fun to pick up on the weaving of storylines.  For me, it was like imagining the old slap-stick comedy movies as people back into and out of rooms and barely miss one another.
 
Alex and Lucy are fun, and the verbal banter just never ends.  Again, like an old movie, I could picture their interaction playing though my mind.  From their first meeting and instant attraction to their building relationship, their story was meant to be unique and it was unavoidable.
 
I always read Samantha Holt’s stories in one sitting.  This is a testament to her wonderful writing ability.  There is one more brother and I cannot wait to read Adam’s story,  Of course, I know it will be another one sitting read!

THE BACHELOR EARL is the thirteenth book in the Untouchables series and a prequel story.  Since I’m a rare Darcy Burke reader who has not read any of the other Untouchable stories, I am in a unique position to affirm that this does stand alone without knowing the other characters and their stories.
 
What a beautiful second-chance love story. 
 
Eugenia “Genie” has already had one love match and lived twenty years with her husband before losing him and going into mourning.  Edmund was infatuated with her back then, when they were so much younger, but he didn’t pursue her.  She was “the one that got away” without ever knowing it. 
 
As I said, I haven’t read any of this popular series, but now I want them ALL.
