What a beautiful second-chance love story.
Eugenia “Genie” has already had one love match and lived twenty years with her husband before losing him and going into mourning. Edmund was infatuated with her back then, when they were so much younger, but he didn’t pursue her. She was “the one that got away” without ever knowing it.
As I said, I haven’t read any of this popular series, but now I want them ALL.
