This is the fourteenth installment
in the continuing Inside Out story, the fifth full-length novel. Each does stand alone, but I recommend
reading all and in order to enjoy the full tale.
Mark has come to New York City to be
with her mother as she goes through her cancer treatments. Being in NYC also means time with Crystal and
Riptide. He is dealing with the loss of
Rebecca, the investigation, and threats to himself and his family. Now more than ever, he believes he must take
control. With Crystal he feels more than
he ever has before.
I love Crystal even more after this
story. She seems to be a balm to Mark’s
soul … more even than he ever believed was possible outside of the control he
held over his submissives. This is not
to say that he has been “cured.” He is
still a dominant and enjoys being in control, but, with Crystal, he’s finding
the balance that will make him a whole person.
What a beautiful story of personal growth!
I am so sad to think that this
series may soon be ending. On the other
hand, it is in development for cable TV and I am excited to see Suzanne Todd (producer of Alice in Wonderland) bring our favorite
characters to life!
