Description from the publisher:
The book Trident Security fans have been waiting for!

The huntress has become the hunted, in more ways than one. Jordyn Alvarez works for the United States government—a fact no one in authority will admit. She does Uncle Sam’s dirty work. Some might call her an agent, but few know her real title—Assassin.

Trained by one of the best black operatives in the world, she wants nothing more than to add him to the long list of people she has sent straight to hell. But she doesn’t dare get close to him ever again. If she did, she couldn’t be sure her body wouldn’t betray her once more and wind up in bed with him. But with her cover blown, she may not have a choice.

Who is he? He’s a ghost. A man with one name—Carter.

The books of the Trident Security Series can be read as stand-alones, however, for optimum enjoyment they are best read in order.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ABSOLVING HIS SINS is the ninth release in the Trident Security series, though listed as book seven.  Each is a stand-alone regarding the prevailing romance, but it is best if you have read them all and in the order of release.
I didn’t receive books 4, 5, 5.5, or 6, but all of a sudden there was Carter in my inbox.  I wasn’t going to refuse a story from Samantha Cole.  Yes, I wish I had read the others, and I was a little lost on some of the relationships, but nothing too out there.  I wouldn’t miss Master Carter’s story for all of the sand on a Florida beach!
Absolutely not disappointed!  Carter has always been hot… excuse me HOT!  Now, put him with the right woman and we all need the fire hoses on stand-by.  Jordyn is the only one who could stand up to him and perfectly submit to him (whether she knows it or not).  In fact, that’s what truly made this story the best, was getting her to understand what submission really is and how hot it can be.  This is the book that answers the question about how a woman could put up with that “abuse,” because it explains the difference between submission and abuse.
In addition to the sexy steamy romance, there is intrigue and suspense as quick, intelligent, and exciting as Ms. Cole has brought us to expect.   The two mysteries – Carter and Jordyn have been targeted by a traitor on their team and the serial killer is still loose in Central Florida and targeting submissives – both kept my heart racing and me on the edge of my seat to see what happens next.
Oh, and the bonus – what is Carter’s first name?  Find out when Jordyn does!
I may have missed a few books in this series, but I am looking forward to reading more and hope one day to get those ones as well.
