My Facebook Post: The book that had me up way past bedtime? I started THE INSIDE OUT series by Lisa Renee Jones. . . . I just now finished the book If I Were You. All I can say is HOLY HOTNESS! I have never been so glad to be late to a party, because if I had to wait months to get my hands on the next one, I would be a weeping, worthless puddle of goo! Book 2 is Being Me, but first are the journals (companions), so the next book to be read is The Seduction.

Sara’s best friend, Ella Ferguson, is addicted to the show Storage Wars and has started bidding on a few storage units herself. In one of her acquisitions, she finds the journals of a young woman, Rebecca Mason. When Ella’s fiancé whisks her off to elope in Paris, Ella leaves the key for the storage unit with Sara. Soft-hearted Sara cannot bring herself to sell off the remains of someone else’s life, so she resolves to find Rebecca. After reading, Rebecca’s journals, Sara is concerned that something awful may have happened to her. Sara finds herself immersed in Rebecca’s life, including having been hired as Rebecca’s replacement at the art gallery, Allure. On her first night at the gallery, she meets an artist, Chris Merit. Sara discovers that her own life with Chris is paralleling Rebecca’s frightening life with her mysterious Master. Chris finds himself in the unusual position of wanting to protect, though he continually warns Sara that he is not safe, he is not the guy you bring home to the parents, and he is not white picket fences.

This is the great start to a mystery, with an eroticism that captures you from the start and does not let go. There is a beginning and you are hooked. There is a build-up and you are captured. There is an end, but it is also a cliff hanger and you will know that you can’t quit until you have found the end.

I will admit, I took a peek at the first few pages of *Being Me* and it picks up exactly where *If I Were You* leaves off! I have got to go read, starting…… NOW!
