Julia is dealing with her first break-up. Her plan is revenge. She wants to make Liam learn a lesson. Then she meets Jesse. Jesse is a grad student with curly brown hair and dimples. Julia has to decide which is more important, the guy who now has her heart or completing her plans of revenge and the satisfaction that may bring.

Do you remember college? For some it's only a few years, so that's a simple "yes." For some of us it's over 25 years ago (holy crap, when did that happen!). While I was reading this, I was transported back to a time when I was a younger princess, and immersed in a time of firsts, including that first freedom from parental constraints. Ms. Kandle (also known as the author with the purple hair) has produced a wonderful story that enveloped me. I could not put this down – another one of those where I would read a page while waiting at a stop light, because I couldn't wait to find out what happened next. Our cast of characters is wonderful. I most identified with our MC, Julia. She is studious, nerdy, and just a touch naive. She is not too whiney, but very real. Then there is Jesse. OMG! He is cute, sweet, seductive, sin in a tight pair of jeans – or at least that's how I pictured him. I could go on and on, but I suggest you read the book and then chat with me. This story is unique and very well executed.

This is the first book I have read from Tawdra Kandle. I promise it won’t be the last!
