This is the second in the Beautiful Mess series. They do need to be read in order.

Olivia has run away, again. She has escaped Boston, and Alex, fearful that her craziness is more than Alex can survive.

She hides out on a small island in Florida, making herself a recluse watching the surf and the surfers. One of those surfers, Cam, has noticed the sad, beautiful woman sitting on her patio. Olivia tries to lose herself emotionally with Cam, but all she truly feels is her pain of loss. Meanwhile, in Boston, Alex continues to mourn his loss as well. He is trying to move on, losing himself in a former lover, but Olivia is always on his mind. When Olivia’s location is revealed, he drops everything to go to her. Can he convince her to return to Boston? To return to him? To allow him to protect her?

The day T.K. contacted me and told me that I would be one of her few to receive an ARC of this book, I started squealing like a little girl. That lasted for about three full days. My husband truly didn’t understand my excitement. He didn’t understand that not only was I honored, but we are talking about Mr. Burnham!!

When you read this, you will be torn between rooting for Cameron or Alexander. You don’t believe me, but you will be. Cameron is sexy, smart, sweet, and gentle. He protects Olivia and encourages her to grow in ways you will not see coming. Then, of course, there is Alexander, alpha, dominate, protective Alex, who has loved Olivia since the day she was born. Poor Olivia, torn between the man who provides a haven of safety and calm and the man whose electric pull on her is unfathomable. Don’t forget, we also still have the bad guys. Why are they so intent on locating Olivia? What do they want from her? What will they do to her?

I said this about A BEAUTIFUL MESS and it is true of the sequel: This is an extremely well-written, edge-of-your-seat, page-flipping action, suspense, love, and friendship story. I absolutely LOVE this story. I will be continuing to stalk T.K. (you know, the good way) until I receive GORGEOUS CHAOS. My offer to be her wife still stands!
