in order.

sexually. He was too timid and awkward

At first I thought it was going to
be a series of short stories, because the events in chapter two happen before
the events in chapter one... The
out-of-order telling is effective in affecting the disjointed feelings that
Roberts has flowing through him after his whirlwind meeting with Tanya.
I alternately hated and liked
Roberts. He’s a misogynist with a victim’s
attitude, but he’s an American being treated poorly just because he is an
American and that gets my hackles up!
Ms. Lee has offered me the second
book in the series and I jumped at the chance.
