TREASURE ME is the first book in the
SAFE Security series, but you
really need to have read RE/LEASED from the Doms of the FBI series as that is
where you meet (and fall in love with) the characters for this series.
I love David and Brea/Autumn. I love the evolution of their very strong characters
as they each learn how to compromise to become a couple.
I can really relate with Brea – she’s
always felt as if she is on the edge of the playground watching others play,
but never allowed to join in. She
struggles to know who she is and how she fits in the world. Because of that, she is a unique
character. Her thinking is a fun, convoluted,
puzzle that I enjoy trying to follow.
I love suspense romance and this
story is a wonderful example of the genre.
Brea and her sister Jennifer have led such amazing lives so far and
their stories have only just begun!
Since I’ve read the series out of
order, the “surprise” of the next couple to be pairing up in future books was not
a surprise for me. Still, I took it as
an Easter Egg, smiled, and put it in my basket.
For now, I’ll be reading the next adventure with David and Brea as they
are SWITCHING IT UP.
