VAMPIRE’S QUEST is the first book in
the Knight Fever series. They are meant
to stand on their own, but I say they need to be read in the order of release
and there is too much overlap to pretend they are self-standing. That said, this is the first book and it
definitely stands on its own with no cliff hanger. Still, once I read it, I knew I was going to
want more.
There are thirteen knights – from King
Arthur’s court – tricked by Merlin to become superhuman and then rejected
because of what he had done to them.
I’ve always loved stories of Merlin and the Knights of the Round
Table. This story makes me question what
I know. This author has asked “what if”
and built a new world. I smile as I say
that is what a true author does!
There are five women in East
Tennessee. Each has been labeled a
witch. Why? How in this modern world? The answers are fanciful and
imaginative.
Then Ryder met Olivia and the roller
coaster ride took off at breakneck speeds.
It never slowed down…making this an absolute page-turner of a
story.
I already have the second book and
will be starting it immediately. Will
another of the coven meet her fated mate within the ranks of the Dark
Knights? I hope so!
