Instead of re-telling Snow White’s story – which will be told in book #6 Fractured Core – first we’re going to learn who Katya is and WHY she was so cruel to Lucia (Snow White). As children, we were all told she was an evil stepmother and stepmothers have had a bad name ever since. This was a fascinating exploration into perspective. What looks cruel to an outsider, may have altruistic motivation.
This was a great read – entertaining and full of emotion. I’m looking forward to reading more from this series.
