RE/Deemed is the ninth book in the Doms
of the FBI series. The FBI characters in
Re/Deemed have all appeared in other books in the series. Though this book
stands alone in terms of the romance, the suspense reading experience is richer
if you've read the previous books in the series. I have only read one other book in the
series, but was not at all lost.
I do not like Stockholm Syndrome
love stories, aka I-fell-in-love-with-my-kidnapper, but this one was so well
written and the circumstances so unique, that I fell in love with Bull right
alongside of Brandy. I loved the slow-burn
buildup to their devotion to one another.
The epilogue was exactly what an
epilogue should be – oh the feels!
Whether you’ve read all of the books
in the series or this may be your first book by Michelle Zurlo, I recommend it.
