HOW WEST WAS WON is the seventh book
in the Haven, Texas series. Each is a stand-alone romance, but the
characters interact. I recommend reading
them all (and wish I had more of the series).
Flick is sunshine to all that she
meets, but she is hiding a home life that is so dark that it is unimaginable
for most. The fact that she can still
have sass, backbone, and all of that sunshine is a testament to the strength of
a wonderful woman. It is these layers
that made me love her so much. It is
West appreciating these layers that made me love him.
With danger, suspense, hawtness,
arrogance, and charm, this story had something different at every turn. I loved it and look forward to more from the
series. I can’t wait to see which of the
Malone brothers will find his girl next – and what sweet nickname he will have
for her.
