GOOSE AND THE OCELOT is the third
book in the FUC Academy series. Each is
a stand-alone, paranormal, romantic suspense story set in the FUC world created
by Eve Langlais. You do not need to have
read any of those books to start this series – I haven’t, though I wish now
that I had.
Absolutely hilarious banter between
two people who don’t look like they should be together – at least not on paper –
but like most opposite attracts rom-coms it just makes everything they say
funnier. It makes the steamy scenes even
hotter. It makes the life more
interesting, always.
Andres seems like a simple man at
first, but simple men don’t fly planes, speak multiple languages, and rescue
damsels in distress.
Dedra has been raised with a silver
spoon in her mouth and has taken over the family business. That doesn’t make her any less of a Mother
Goose. Have you ever been chased by a
goose? I have. Those mamas will rival any bear!
The story is great. The acronyms keep coming and each one is
funnier than the last. I love how the academy
and the FUC teams are brought into the plot to bring down the bad guys and keep
the shifters safe and their shifter identities secured from the humans.
I’ll be continuing to watch for more
releases from this series. I think
anyone who enjoys shifters, romance, and suspense with a lot of sass, sarcasm,
and a bit of whimsy will love these right along with me.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC
via Booksprouts, my opinions are my own and are given freely.
