THE GOVERNESS GAMBIT is the first book – a prequel – in the Wild Wynchesters series. 
 
What a nice start to a new series.  There is no couple romance in this book.  Instead, it is a short caper introduction to the members of the family and their unique talents.  They use those talents in the pursuit of justice.  An 18^th century Justice League looking to correct wrongs in the society that they were adopted into, but never truly accepted.
 
We are also introduced to the new Duke of Faircliffe – the man in possession of a family artifact that will be instrumental in the second book, THE DUKE HEIST.
 
I liked this short set-up for the series.  I’m looking forward to more from this family band of Wynchesters.
