POSSESSION is the first book in the Possession duet and the third book in the Redemption series.  While I have not read the previous books in the Redemption series, both books in the Possession duet must be read – and in order – to enjoy the full story.  This is a wonderful, contemporary, slow-burn romance that focuses on current topics.
 
Their meet-cute is beautifully dramatic, teasing, and endearing.  It becomes “their story” and something they often refer to in their later conversations.
 
Wes and Londyn each have complex pasts that, of course, affect their present.  I loved Wes’s patience, generosity, and determination.
 
I knew from the start that this was part one of a duet and expected a cliff-hanger.  I was only thankful that I had both books from the start and could immediately start Atonement.

This story is about an inter-racial couple and  addresses cultural and societal response to their relationship.   Ultimately love is love is love.
