I just may have ‘squeed’ and danced around shouting, “his Lordship is here!” My husband did not understand at all. There is kitty drama that is integral to the storyline.
These stories always go to fast because I just can’t put them down.
Xavier’s and Kelly’s story is a second-chance romance between what was a human and a werewolf, but now she’s a vampire. They have to navigate a reunion after about ten years. She’s certainly changed. He’s also changed, and she has to stop expecting him to be exactly as he was before. He may still be an alpha, after all that is ingrained, but he’s learned to be patient and to trust her as well.
Obviously, I loved this flirty, snarky, laugh-out-loud second-chance romantic-comedy. I looked it up…. Two months until our next visit to Forbidden, KY. I’ll be counting the days.
