MEMORIES OF HEAVEN is the third book in the Memory Ranch series.  Re-released as The Happiest Place (Alaskan Hearts #6).  Each story in this series does stand on its own, but I recommend them all.

Finding happiness and hope when all seems impossible, that is the theme of this story.  To continue to live for yourself, to take of yourself while caring for those you love, this is paramount for a caregiver to remember.

Jack’s patience with his patients, with the little foal named Hope, and with Kate are all beautifully written.  Kate learning that she doesn’t have to do it all alone reached into my heart and squeezed, squeezed, squeezed until I paid attention too.

Yes, this story is a little on the heavy side, but it is so beautiful and inspiring that I would invite anyone to read it.

Description from the publisher:

Shane Wilde loves the wilderness. If he had his way, he would live close to nature every day of his life.

Montana Eaten has suffered more than anyone ever should. She’s been imprisoned by an evil hyena organization for ten years and barely escaped with her life. Now, living wild in wolf form, Montana has only one thought: run.

When Shane finds the scarred wolf stalking his survival camp, deep in the Colorado mountains, he's shocked that she’s his mate.

Montana can’t trust and won't let anyone near. So, Shane tries everything he knows to help her. But when the two finally connect, Montana's past comes back to haunt them both.

Will Montana and Shane learn that survival is about more than living rough in the wilderness? Or will the pain of Montana's past prove there are things that cannot be survived?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
SURVIVAL WOLF is the second book in the Wilde Brothers Ranch series.  Each book in the series will stand on its own, but there is heavy involvement with the brothers and their mates as each is paired up with their forever.
Montana’s story is heartbreaking and scary.  She needs her protective, alpha, wonderful, survivalist wolf mate.  I loved Shane’s compassion – even before he met Montana – and his patience with her.
This story was not easy or fluffy.  It spoke to hard truths.  Not everyone has an easy path to their forever, but love is possible after hate.  Good is possible after evil.  Life is possible after abandoning hope.
Yes, tissues were needed, but in the end the tissues were for tears of joy.
