MUST LOVE MOVIE STAR is the ninth release in the Alaska Sunrise series. Each will stand on its own, but all are wonderful.

It is a reality that most in the spotlight are actually shy and introverted in real life. They’ll be larger than life while the camera is rolling and the director is giving them their cues, but on their own, they’ll be the wallflower. This is why the mosquitos are so thick and relentless, chasing them, and often misquoting them. Never forget, it was the paparazzi that caused the crash that killed Princess Diana. Therefore – to my mind – Dan Rockwell is a hero. He is a fireman (like my brother and grandfather), but he is also the man who has whisked Jo away from the paparazzi several times. Until… (Well, I’m not going to give any spoilers).

I loved this sweet, clean romance. It is a sweet reminder to be yourself always. It was full of warmth in the middle of a cold Alaskan visit. It is a beautiful tribute of romance to all of the men (and women) who are, have been, or will serve as firefighters and EMTs. They are the ones who rush in when the rest of us run away. Dan is the epitome of those brave men, ready to show that he will do what it takes.

It’s a shame that this is now only available as part of the box set. I hope it will eventually be re-released as a stand-alone.
