MISADVENTURES OF A CITY GIRL is the
first book in the Misadventures series.
This is a collaboration series and each book will stand on its own with
no need to have read the previous books, but I’m not going to skip any of them!
This is a second chances story. Not a second chance with each other; they had
never met before. No, it is a second
chance at life. The life they were meant
to have had and they are meant for each other from the moment he finds himself
mesmerized watching her masturbating in the hot springs on his mountain. But, a mountain man will never be happy in
the city and the city girl tucked away in the mountains is only a retreat, not
a lifestyle. Now doesn’t THAT sound like
the beginning of a story you want to read?
I was singing the theme from Green Acres
while reading this one. Don’t know
it? Gah, I’m showing my age. It was a TV sit-com in the mid to late 60s
about a New York lawyer, played by Eddie Albert, who wants to escape the rat
race and buys a farm in Hooterville, USA.
His wife was played by Eva Gabor and the quintessential society lady
with a European accent. She did not want
to leave the city. She didn’t understand
the draw of all of the fresh air and sunshine.
While Madison did understand retreating from the city to lick her wounds
from a very public divorce, living in the mountains wasn’t her dream.
I absolutely loved this steamy,
sexy, romantic story. I’m looking forward
to reading more of the Misadventures that will be coming soon!
