A GHOULISH MIDLIFE is the first book in the Witching After Forty series.  This series needs to be read in the order of release as there is a building storyline.  This is a paranormal romance with a happy for now, much like Cinderella has met her prince but we don’t know what the rest of her life was yet.
 
Lia Boruff has a unique writing style that I can almost imagine being lyrically read to me.  Like a fairy tale being read for an adult.  Not that it is childish, just that there is this magical quality that seems to come off the page and pull me in.  I’m sure I’m not explaining that quite right.   All I can say is that if you love witches, you love romance, and you love quirky you will adore this enchanting story.  I’ve already read one of the later books in the series, so I know that I want to read more.
