MISADVENTURES OF A GOOD WIFE is the
second book in the Misadventures series presented by Waterhouse
Publishing. Each is a stand-alone novel.
Instead of the usual: boy meets
girl; boy woos girl; happily ever after, this begins with happily ever after …
interrupted. I loved the unique twist in
that the couple is contently married and passionately in lust with one another
regardless of their circumstances right from the beginning. This story was HOT, HOT, HOT as the
Caribbean!
The conflict isn’t within their
relationship, but is more of an “us against the world” dynamic that I remember
from my own youth (thankfully mine was only emotional, personal drama and not
real-world). That’s just it. Fiction is supposed to be larger than
life. Ms. Wild and Ms. Hardt take us to
the edge of belief without taking it too far.
That’s what makes this such a wonderful story.
I did think that some of the sex was
gratuitous. In fact, in got to the point
that I was wondering if anyone, anywhere had that kind of stamina!
I have already been given the next
four in the series. So, I will be
reading and reviewing soon!
