ONE HOT CHANCE is the first book in
the newest series from Anna Durand - the Hot Brits series. Each is
expected to stand on its own, but I expect we’ll be seeing each of the couples
in subsequent stories as the series builds.
Doing the right thing isn’t always
the easiest thing. Doing the easiest
thing often isn’t the right thing to do.
That seems to be where Elena head is when it comes to thinking of the hot
Brit she met and desires – who happens to be her boss’s ex-husband – and the
boss who is a brilliant divorce lawyer and a harpy.
I loved the slow-burn, should we-shouldn’t
we, what’s right, dilemma and desire that built and built until it the steam
had to escape.
The story is equal parts fun, steam,
and moral quandary. I don’t often go to
Goodreads and mark the next book in the series as “want to read,” but I have
for this one. I am in love with Chance
and his brothers already. I’m looking
forward to more Hot Brits!
