I love Polly. She’s thoroughly outrageous, plain-spoken,
foot-loose, and confident. She loves to
swim and has dreams of being a mermaid; who would be a better match for a water-dragon
shifter?
Polly and Ruarc together are a
perfect match and thankfully neither one fight against their feelings too long
or too hard.
There are plenty of hilarious
situations and laugh-out-loud banter. This
is balanced with the seriousness of the plague attacking the people and the
land which has been woven through the last three books, the politics of dragon
brothers, and the community of the island people. The pacing of the stories has been perfect. I love the characters and look forward to
knowing more of them.
