FATED IN FORBIDDEN is the second
book in the Alphas & Alchemy: Fierce Mates series. The Alphas & Alchemy: Fierce Mates series
combines the worlds of Keira’s Alphas and Alchemy and Liza’s Fierce Mates. You do not need to have read either of these
other two series to enjoy this new combination!
Though each book in this new series will stand alone, for maximum
enjoyment, read them all and in the order of release.
I absolutely enjoyed this
fated-mate, paranormal romance that includes a frenemy/bridezilla and a
puppy-love. There is also a frightening
illness (can anyone say timely!?) that is sweeping the town. How these elements are woven together takes
the expertise of two talented authors.
Sophie is a vlogger with a positive message,
and she has an incredible sweetness. I
loved Finn’s insta-attraction and acceptance of his fated mate, but an equal
acceptance that – as a human – she may not understand or agree to the concept.
Sophie’s reaction when she sees Finn
change into a wolf is perfect and perfectly described. Finn also has perfect reactions – to her
reaction – that make the story everything romantic.
One final thing: there is a green
fog that has developed in the basement.
(Why is it always the basement?
Basements are so spooky!) A large
fan has been set up to try to dispel it, but where has it come from and what
mayhem will it herald? I hope this is
the set up for the next book!
