I loved that they still fought and loved each other with their whole beings. I loved that tempers flared – on both sides – but the love always won out in the end.

Nobody ever said that marriage is one person giving in all of the time; sometimes she gives in, sometimes he does, but usually it is about compromising. Add in strong personalities and it takes ever more love to get past the differences. Reagan and Jude’s love poured off the pages.

Speaking of love, the sex is still hotter than Hades. The steam scorched my kindle! There is no diminishing their desire for one another. In fact, it seems to be growing stronger and hotter with each return to home.

I loved how they worked together against the established “politics is dirty business” norm and made their own rules that were based on the morals we all want to see. They are tested and come out of the fire stronger than ever.
