This is the fourth book in the Men of Inked series. They each stand on their own, but I would recommend reading them in order.

Izzy Gallo has been raised with four very protective, domineering, alpha brothers. Because of this, she has vowed that she will not submit to any man. She is in charge in her life and in her bedroom. When her friend, Flash, takes her to Daytona for Bike Week, she finds herself in a scary position with the Sun Devils MC. Only one man can safely get her away…James Caldo, the man she “loved” during her brother’s wedding and then snuck out without saying good-bye. James is even more protective than her brothers, more alpha, more dominant. Can James overcome Izzy’s fear of losing herself to a dominant man?

I have to compare this story to Throttle Me, City and Suzy’s story. In that one, I said that there were elements that may be seen as BDSM, but were not defined as such. In this one, there is no ambiguity. James is a bedroom dominant and he sees the natural submissive in Izzy that she is afraid to admit to being even though James’ scenes excite her. The steam between these two characters is scalding hot. I’m glad I was reading this on a tablet, because if it had been a paper book, I’m sure the pages would have caught on fire!

If this were a paranormal romance, James would be a werewolf…and he isn’t afraid to admit he has found his mate. I loved that he has such a soft heart under that macho exterior and that he doesn’t fight the attraction and instant devotion he feels for Izzy.

I know that Resisting, the next novella in this series, is supposed to be released this month. I am itching for it. I need more of this drug called The Men of Inked series. Chelle Bliss, you are my dealer. I need a new fix, soon, please!
