MANEUVER is the first book in the
Men of Inked: Southside series, a spin-off of our old favorites from
Florida. These are their Chicago
cousins. This will stand without having
read any of the previous series.
Delilah and Lucio’s story is like a
Disney romance. Insta-love! She is Snow White – a princess being cut out
of the family and left to fend for herself with her sweet baby girl. Lucio is her prince from the other side of
town and with a heart of gold. He’s also
the total package – besides being sweet on her, he’s also fallen head over
heels for her little bundle of joy. He’s
protective, encouraging, honest, and has muscles and tattoos. He is patient, alpha, and swoony. Yep, he is everything on the checklist.
I loved Delilah’s strength. It’s not easy to set aside a toxic natural
family and accept that you are worthy of the love of the family that wants
you. She sees and she’s not afraid to
grab it with both hands. Logic and
timelines be damned!
I loved this story and read it in
one sitting. In fact, that’s pretty much
a given when it’s a Chelle Bliss book. I
plan for the day and indulge because it is worth it every time!
