Somehow I had missed this book in the series. How appropriate that a book titled “Gift Wrapped in a Kilt” would be given to me as a gift.
I already knew Jamie and Gavin as a couple, but how wonderful to get to know their story. I have a picture frame in my house that says, “Every love story is beautiful, but ours is my favorite.” This is true. I love the love story that is mine, but I love all romance stories and want to know them all. That’s why I’m happy to finally read about Gavin and Jamie.
Someone needed to give
Gavin a clue – gift wrapped, high-lighted, with cliff-notes and references. Even when Emory gets the brothers (Rory, Aidan, and Lachlan) to assist, it appears that all of the men need those clues.
Gavin may not have a clue, but he is determined. He may have fouled-up the first proposal, but he knows his future. All of this leads to laugh-out-loud moments and recognizable frustration. Then there is the sexy, steamy love. There is a reason this is called the HOT Scots series. WhooHoo!
