OBSIDIAN HUNGER is the fourth book in the Undercover Elementals series.  Though I had not read any of the previous books in the series, I had no problem.  So, I can promise you that it does stand on its own.  On the other hand, it has me aching to know the rest of the series.  These are amazing characters!
 
Harper and Max are fabulous adversaries who are meant to be fated mates.  Getting from “I will kill you,” to “I would die for you” is an amazing journey.
 
I was captured from the first page to the last.  I will admit to reading far into the night and missing some vital sleep.  This is a perfectly written suspenseful paranormal romance.  I hope there will be more in this series.  I would love to read more.
