From Activities to Zoo Animals,
there are puzzles to while away the hours and entertain. They can also be conversation starters or family
projects. I tend to leave my books open
on a table and anyone is allowed to grab a pen and circle a few words while we
chat. Another option is to assign a different color of pen to each family
member and see how colorful the pages become.
The only page that disturbed me was
the States puzzle. Since each puzzle was
thirty words, twenty states were left out.
Otherwise this page could have been used as a summer learning activity.
