~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was born in Japan (don’t let the blonde hair and blue eyes fool you; I’m an Air Force brat) and I have done origami all of my life.
This is a nice step-by-step book with sixteen different origami models, but it also includes a basic history of origami and a lesson in some of the symbolisms in origami.  I loved reading all of this history and background information.  Then I dove into playing with the paper.
The instructions are easy to follow and I quickly had beautiful paper art decorating my desk.  I’m looking forward to the next time my grandchildren visit.  This will be one of our day activities!
Note:  While I received this book as a gifted ARC via Booksprout, my opinions are my own and are given freely.
