I really like the way this book is set up.  There are 12 practice mazes (one copy each).  Then 17 challenge and one super-challenge puzzles.  Each of the challenge puzzles have two copies in the book so that your child and a friend can race head-to-head to get the best time.

The pages were visually appealing, however the arrangement (name plate, monkey, compass, and hourglass) were repeated on every page.  Though the monkeys weren’t all the same.  I liked the few titling monkey/jungle pages for coloring.  It was obvious that the mazes were done in another program and then pasted onto the page.  Something in the method left “ghost lines” showing.  It doesn’t interfere with the maze, it’s just disruptive to the eye of someone who is sensitive.

I’m told this is the first activity book for this publisher.  They did a great job and worked hard to produce something enjoyable and fun.

Note:  While I received this book as a gifted ARC, my opinions are my own and are given freely.
