I liked that the letters were in
lower case for little eyes and that they were well spaced out. The word search grids were perfect.
The word lists on the other hand
were not as well thought out. I did like
that the words were in alphabetical order, but they were not evenly
spaced. I also liked that the words were
forward and backwards – encouraging children to really “own” their sight words.
IMHO, it also would have been nice
to have a bit of art work on pages meant for children.
For me, the positives far outweigh
the minor negatives and this is a great practice book.
Note: While I received this book as a gifted ARC
via Booksprout, my opinions are my own and are given freely.
