BLOOD MOON is the first book in the Bear Sheriff series.  They will need to be read in the order of release.  While they will each be stand-alone romances, there will also be continuation of story.  There is no cliff-hanger and a definite happy-for-now ending.

Some of the things I liked about this book: 

o   Even though it is about a shifter, there is no pack.  Sheriff Marcus is a loner in the town of Charming, AZ. 

o   Being alone does not make him a rogue. 

o   There is no insta-love (or even insta-lust) or magic-fated-mate.  Instead, these are two people who have met and will get to know each other, just like any other two people, and decide if the spark is worth nurturing into a flame.

o   I didn’t have to like Angie’s friend, Erica.  In fact, I really disliked her very much and that’s okay.  As it turns out, she’s not a nice person.

o   Fantastically played out mystery.

o   Excellent beginning to a new series that promises to keep me on my toes.

At the end of the book was a two chapter tease for book two, FATE’S REAPING.  Gah!  I wish I hadn’t read it, because now I’m dying to have it in my hot little hands!  What happens next!!??
