BEAR WARRIOR OF WATER is the fourth book in the Alphas & Alchemy: Elemental Shifters series.  Though each will stand on its own, I highly recommend reading them all and in the order of release for better understanding.

Indra is brave.  She is a conductor tending her own Underground Railroad.  She is Miep Gies (the woman who hid Anne Frank and her family in the Secret Annex / the preserver of Anne’s diary) for the humans who have landed on Dragon Island.

Hale’s compassion for the humans is equal to her own, but confuses her because he trusts them.  To find their way to “us,” they have to learn to trust each other.

I loved their story.  The magic of the land translates to the magic of their love.  A little bit sweet, a little bit steamy, a bit of drama, and a lot of feel good.

FILTHY BEAST is the first book in the Junkyard Shifters series.    Though each book will focus on one couple, I recommend reading the whole series and in the order of release.

There are no flowers and chocolates in this romance.  Not when their “meet cute” is in a junkyard that is the prison for incorrigible shifters.  I love that the men are rough, hard, masculine, alpha to the nth degree and the two women present are strong but soft.

I loved this story.  It was different in so many ways.  Yet, there was the steam, fated mates, and plenty of hints of who may feature in future stories that I hope to find in a shifter story.

I wish I had read Caitlyn and Grant’s story.  They are the shifters who live just outside of the Junkyard and help Carter and Lena.  In my research for this review, I found out that there was a prequel, but it is not available on Amazon.  On the other hand, I am standing ready to accept each book as it releases, and I will serve my time in the junkyard awaiting my perfect mate to arrive.

Let me get my fangirling out of the way first.  I loved, loved, loved, loved – to the infinity – this story.  Hot cop / bear shifter and misunderstood witch with glitchy powers – oh yes!

Of course, we’re also back in Forbidden and visiting all of those wonderful friends at the “weird” B&B that used to be an asylum.  After all, if Cordelia isn’t causing the shifters to prematurely age as she has been accused of doing, then what is happening? 

Another fast and fun mystery involving shifters, witches, demons, and that scary basement.  I can’t wait to go back and join this Scooby Gang again!
