Description from the publisher:
For fans of the Oracle of Delphi
series...and for those who aren't...
Born into one of the wealthiest
families in Ireland, Siobhan Law has status, privilege, and a secret: The Greek
gods of Olympus and their kingdom in the clouds are real, and her family acts
as one of their agents on Earth.
When the beautiful immortal celeste,
Liam Argyros, shows up claiming to have come to Earth to deal in the affairs of
the divine, Siobhan finds herself unable to resist his charms. New to the game
of passion and seduction, she quickly ends up in over her head, sinking deeper
with every attempt Liam makes to win her over.
But Liam’s divine mission is far
more complex than she ever imagined and nothing is truly as it seems. Because
Liam has a secret of his own: He is Apollo, Olympian god of the Sun, and his
mission will never be complete until he has claimed Siobhan’s heart forever.

This is the first book in the
Mythos, Gods, and Lovers series from Ms. A. Star. They will need to be read in order. Though this is the first in the series, it is
tightly related to the Oracle of Delphi series created by her alter-ego Diantha
Jones.
Extremely well-done prequel to an
established series. It would have been
so easy to fall into the trap of believing the reader already knew the
characters from the previous books.
Since I’m a first-time reader of this author, I can assure you that she
has not made this error.
I love Siabhon. Ms. Star did an admirable job of providing
Siabhon a voice that I swear I could hear whispering to me as I read with her
adorable Irish accent. Liam/Apollo may
have lived for four thousand years, but he has been made approachable and
relatable.
I am looking forward to reading
King, Desired. Do you suppose the King
is Zeus, King of the Gods? Gah, I hope
so! His wife, Hera, is a twisted, little
bitch who would be fun to write/read.
Mythos: Gods & Lovers series:
1.
Lover, Divine
2.
King, Desired (early 2015)
Also from A. Star:
- Anthologies
- Here Kitty Kitty
- Invasion
