SPURRED FATE is the second book in
the Black Claw Ranch series. Though each
will stand on its own, it would be better to have read them all and in the
order of release.
This is a spin-off series, and you
will revisit characters – I have not read the other books, but I know I bumped
into some dragons, bears, wolves, and lions that must have their own stories. I wish I could read them all!
I loved this story of new beginnings
– making your own path – defining your own destiny. Joss and Hunter are complex characters, but
Cecilia Lane did an amazing job of presenting their twisted “meet cute,”
relationship, and drama. There was
plenty of sexy, swearing (or not!), and laughs in this enjoyable, entertaining paranormal
suspense romance.
Cecilia Lane is a new-to-me author
and I look forward to reading more of her world.
