NATE is the second book in the Brothers
in Blue series. While this stands
completely on its own, it is better to read them all and in the order of
release.
This is a terrific, fast-paced,
action-packed, suspense romance! Though
the stalker’s identity was too obvious (no red herrings to keep you guessing)
and the economic status of the heroine (from unemployed art teacher to shop
owner with an assistant in a few weeks), I still enjoyed the story. I recommend suspending a little reality and experience
the romance and suspense.
I would love to read (listen to)
more of this series. There is one more
brother…. and two more sisters in the Baker family.

Blackwell, has a sweet melodic voice.
She does an admirable job of giving the different characters different voices,
though I did wonder why Sophie had a southern twang to her voice when she was a
“true Chicagoan.”
The production quality needs
work. Bathrooms have wonderful acoustics
– for singers working on practicing their projection. As audiobook studios, they are echo chambers.
