WATCHING WILLOW is the seventh book
in the Gold Coast Retrievers series. Though
each stands alone in this multi-author set, there are some characters that
cross over, and they are all very enjoyable stories. I highly recommend the book and the series.
Willow Winks didn’t even begin to
live her life until she faced a downturn in employment. First adopting a lovable older companion,
Buddy, and then turning to people who can be true friends, I loved experiencing
Willow’s growth and blossoming. The best
and the worst was the day she was forced to accept a bodyguard, Caleb
McCreery. A younger man who doesn’t want
to be her friend, but would step in front of a bullet for her or her dog, is
not the man she thinks is she meant to choose for a relationship. Fate is a funny thing, though. Isn’t it?
I loved this story! I’m definitely going to have to go read some
more of the books in this series. More
dogs, more sweet, clean romance, and more friends – I see nothing but love in
this plan.
