the eleventh book in the Daisy McDare series.
I was assured it would stand on its own, so I took a chance reading it
without having read the previous books in the series. I was not disappointed. In fact, I was quite pleasantly pleased.
As the eleventh book in a cozy
mystery, don’t expect it to follow the mold!
Daisy and her fiancé are going to the dinner theater on a date, but
she’s worried that her usual luck will follow her. A murder mystery is expected, but Daisy is
anticipating more than the one on stage.
I loved the twist on the expected
and found this to be a delightful way to relax through my lunch hour while
playing “whodunit?” I would love to
spend more time with Daisy and her friends.
Narration: The narrator, Lili
Dubuque, has a pleasant voice and the production quality if very good. The delivery cadence is a little wooden at
times, but not all of the time. A little
more practice and that should go away. I
would definitely listen to her again.
